A Grateful Heart

Once again guys, another special season is here again, a season of joy, of peace and of great tidings. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving, forgiving and also a spirit of love. To me, Christmas is not all about merry making. It’s a time to reflect on the importance  of the love of God for humanity. This love of God is unquantifiable not measurable and you can’t deny,  it’s so obvious

“For God so love the world that he gave us his only son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Also, Christmas is  a period of gratitude to God for sparing our lives and counting us among the living. So many people who started the year 2017 with us are not around to finish it. Like us, they started  the  year with new year resolutions,  so many expectations , goals, strength and aspirations. Some may have planned to marry this year, graduate from school, pass out from NYSC, get a job, start a business, buy a new car or  move into a new apartment or perhaps be a house owner . But for them it couldn’t be a reality . I won’t say I’m lucky to be alive , I’m grateful to God for the gift of life.

Christmas is a truly important and a significant day because it is celebrated as a recognition of God’s redemption, mercy and Grace.

So in between the merry making, gist, games, excitement and activities just take out time to reflect on your life and be grateful for everything.  You can start now by just saying Thank you Jesus for everything.

I just told you what Christmas means to me. What does it mean to you??

What do you guys think about the print clash?

Do leave a comment and have a lovely Christmas.
